Workshop On ICMR Guidelines Ethical Committee Structure Good Clinical Practice and New Drugs & Clinical Trials Rules

A workshop on ICMR Guidelines , IEC structure , Good Clinical Practice , and NDCT Rules was conducted on 31.7.22 at KMCT DC by Dr . Nandini K Kumar .The program started with inaugural function at 9 am . Inauguration was done by Director Operations , KMCT , Dr Ayisha Nazreen . Dr Nandini spoke extensively , and effectively , with much depth and knowledge , about the need for Ethical clearance , the regulatory bodies , the do’s and dont’s and the role of ICMR . She also spoke on how drug trials are cleared , done and executed , and also about the role of a good , effective and accredited IEC . 125 registered participants , from KMCT group of institutions attended the workshop . It concluded at 1.30 pm . There was an interactive session with the resource person , which helped clear much doubts .
