Our Core Mission: Preserving and Enhancing Your Natural Teeth
Our department specializes in a wide array of procedures designed to save and enhance your teeth, ensuring their long-term function and aesthetic appeal. Our key specialities include:
- Restorative Dentistry (Operative Dentistry): We focus on preventing, controlling, and managing dental hard tissue diseases and defects using the latest materials and methods. Patients can choose from various restorative procedures, guided by our trained specialists, ranging from tooth-colored direct restorations to advanced indirect ceramic partial bonded restorations. We approach all procedures holistically, collaborating across disciplines when necessary to ensure the best patient outcome. Students also receive extensive training in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry, including dental bleaching, veneers, and complete smile makeovers.
- Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment): We are experts in the preservation, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues. Our endodontic services encompass vital pulp therapy, pulp regeneration, root canal therapy, management of dental traumatic injuries, root canal retreatment procedures, and even microsurgical interventions to alleviate pain and save teeth that might otherwise require extraction.
We also offer specialized care:
- Care for Differently Abled Patients: Restorative and Endodontic procedures are available for differently abled patients, carried out as an interdisciplinary treatment with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under general anesthesia.
- Geriatric Clinic: In collaboration with the Departments of Prosthodontics and Periodontics, we ensure comprehensive oral rehabilitation for elderly patients.
